Gulf Coast Community of Mindfulness Sangha

Every Wednesday Online 6:30pm - 8:00pm CT

Each week we gather virtually as a community to practice meditation and mindfulness in the Plum Village tradition of the Venerable Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.  The practice session consists of a short dharma talk, energy movement practices (walking, breathing or gentle movements), sitting meditation, and dharma sharing.

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month we will recite either the 5 Mindfulness Trainings or the 14 Mindfulness Trainings. These trainings represent the Buddhist vision for global spirituality and ethic.  If we live according to the trainings, we are already on the path of a bodhisattva.  Knowing we are on that path, we are not lost in confusion about our life in the present or in fears about the future.
